Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Prayer: Lord, help me trust in You with all my heart and not rely on my understanding. Guide my path and make my way straight. Pray for those areas in your life that needed to be straightened to conform to God’s will.
Scripture: Isaiah 40:31
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Prayer: Father, renew my strength as I wait on You. Help me to soar like an eagle, to run and not grow weary, and to walk and not be faint. Help me to realize that physically, mentally, and spiritually I need you to help me find holy healing.
Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. "
Prayer: Lord, I bring my worries to You. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Worry is so prevalent – be reminded of God’s empowering grace to change you and make you whole and holy to be released of worry.
Scripture: James 1:5
"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
Prayer: God, I ask for wisdom in all my decisions. Please give it generously and without finding fault. Do we ask for too much wisdom for the wrong reasons. We need to know and experience the will of God and what God desires to do – leading and growing to know the right things that God desires to do and leads us to.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Prayer: Lord, teach me to love as You love—patiently, kindly, and without envy or pride. Help me to always protect, trust, hope, and persevere. Is my love patient and kind to myself and others. Do I love the way God loves me – do I love others the way God loves me.
Scripture: Psalm 91:1-2
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
Prayer: Almighty God, I dwell in Your shelter. Be my refuge and fortress, and keep me safe from harm. The prayer is easy to pray for protection but do we desire the protection that God gives.
Scripture: 1 John 1:9
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
Prayer: Lord, I confess my sins to You. Thank You for Your promise to forgive and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. May I realize the trueness of unrighteousness is not being right with you in my soul.
Scripture: Psalm 103:2-3
"Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases"
Prayer: Father, I praise You for Your healing power. Please heal my body, soul, and spirit as You have promised. Healing for the body, mind, and soul becomes necessary and needed in every way. Can this be the place where healing begins.
Scripture: Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Prayer: Lord, help me be strong and courageous. Let me not be afraid or discouraged, for You are with me wherever I go. I need courage every day. Courage to do your will and follow in your way.
Scripture: Romans 12:12
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
Prayer: Father, help me to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. Who and what do I need the most patience with this day.
Scripture: Philippians 4:19
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Prayer: Lord, I trust that You will meet all my needs according to the riches of Your glory in Christ Jesus. May I know the difference between needs and wants.
Scripture: Hebrews 11:1
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
Prayer: God, strengthen my faith. Help me to trust in what I do not see, knowing that You are faithful. May the gift of faith surround me – may faith become more than a fleeting thought but your presence in my life.
Scripture: Micah 6:8
"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
Prayer: Lord, teach me to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You. Humility is about having an honest view of self. The only one with Jesus help that can change you is you.
Scripture: Romans 15:13
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Prayer: God of hope, fill me with all joy and peace as I trust in You, so that I may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. In hope there is perseverance. We persevere because of hope.
Scripture: Psalm 16:11
"You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."
Prayer: Lord, in Your presence is fullness of joy. Help me to seek You and find joy in You. We come to know Joy in knowing Jesus. List the ways you have experienced the joy of the Lord.
Scripture: James 5:7-8
"Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near."
Prayer: Lord, help me to be patient and stand firm, for Your coming is near. In anxious times Lord help me to see impatience as the evil ones tools. May I patiently endure every thing just as Jesus patiently endured the cross for me.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9
"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."
Prayer: Lord, Your grace is sufficient for me. In my weakness, Your power is made perfect. Strengthen me with Your grace. By your grace make me strong to withstand everything.
Scripture: Colossians 1:9-10
"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God"
Prayer: Lord, fill me with the knowledge of Your will through all wisdom and understanding, that I may live a life worthy of You and bear fruit in every good work. Praying to see spiritual growth everyday.
Scripture: Psalm 34:17
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."
Prayer: Lord, I cry out to You in my troubles. Deliver me from all my fears and distress. Thou I pray I need you am I accepting the deliverance you offer.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
Prayer: Father, help me to rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances. How can I bless others with what I have been blessed with.
Scripture: Proverbs 3:3-4
"Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Prayer: Lord, help me to bind love and faithfulness around my neck, so that I may win favor and a good name in Your sight. How am I perceived as being faithful.
